Title: Can't install dd2

How do you do it?
By the way, I have Windows Vista: Home Premium.
Explanation of problem:
1. In Oberon Media, I click on SETUP, it begins loading, but it cuts off telling me that "Zoo Tycoon 2 was not installed for Allusers or the current user. Please log in with the correct account" But, I remember installing it for all the users on my laptop. Then, I go to launch, open it and click Install, then it tells me" Access violation at (numbers, letters; tried to write to (numbers, letters).
Well there ya go. What do I do, if I can do anything? :(

I recommend contacting Oberon Media with your problem. Many people have had trouble installing it and I'm not quite sure what they did to make it work since I didn't have any problems with mine.

I haven't even attempted to buy ZT2: DD, yet. Don't ask me. I'd probably have to get permission from my mom, first, anyway. Sorry.

Well,I contacted Oberan Media for support and they told me "Administrators may install applications and place shortcuts in the All Users Profile directory. All users will have access to these shortcuts and applications. These applications appear on users' desktops."
What's the All Users Profile directory? :huh: :huh: :huh: :squestion: :shelp:

I had the same prob. I forget what I did...
I think I installed it on the administrators account, and somehow got to play dd2 on my own account. srry, not very clear on what I did...

Huh. Last night I finally got something about how it is not compatible for Vista. AND, that there will be an updated edition within the next 4 weeks. Is this true?

I have Vista, and it works fine on my computer. Try Running as Administrator.

I already tried that. Huh, wonder why that dont work.
Okay, so far the problem is:
1.random numbers and letters (or maybe they aren't so random? :huh:)
2." Zoo Tycoon 2 was not installed for allusers yadayada.......
Has'nt really changed, but then there is that compatibility message.
Within the next 4 weeks, it says.

Run the installer in compatability with XP, then right-click and run as admin.

Nope. No luck. Still get the numbers n' letters.
Well, within a few weeks for an updated version to be released. Does anyone have any more suggstions, I am kinda losing hope here. (sorry if I sound pushy and/or mean).
