Asian, especially since they are more closely related to mammoths than African, and are the Elaphidae trademark species, being Elaphus maxmimus, while the African Elephant is Loxodonta africana

Asian elephants, and even though my local zoo, the Milwaukee County Zoo has them, more zoos in general have Asian elephants because they are less aggresive.
