http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc222/S...FebContest1.jpg Overhead View
As you can see, there is a "moat" surrounding most of the exhibit, with a series of tiered waterfalls running down towards the desert area. I have tried to blend the foliage for both desert and rainforest areas together, obviously with the TRF area being more densly planted. All the foliage is African (or worldwide inc. Africa), and makes use of the Arabian Nights foliage.
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc222/S...FebContest5.jpgOverhead View Two
Another overhead view, this time from a different angle. Here you can see that the TRF biome runs down into the desert biome, and that the water decreases in size when the extremities of the desert is reached.
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc222/S...FebContest3.jpgAlternate Overview
This view I hope gives you a better idea of the elevation in the exhibit, as I wanted the TRF area of the exhibit to be higher up and more elevated than the desert area, and also this shows off the little waterfalls nicely. Also hopefully you can get the denser layers of foliage and trees that the bongos like to hide in.
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc222/S...FebContest2.jpgTRF View
The view of the exhibit from the top of the rainforest area. As you can (or can't!) see, all the food dishes are hidden by foliage to provide maximum natural softness. The shelter for all of these animals is the rainforest frond shade to also provide softened natural looking exhibits for these ungulates.
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc222/S...FebContest4.jpgDesert Area
The exhibit from the bottom of the desert area. Sweeping up the subtle incline up to the TRF area and you can see how much user made content I have used XD As well as SilesianTomcat's Arabian Oryx, I have used Arabian Nights foliage, Aim's biome reskins and various foliage made by Nique.
And there you have it!
Zebralover
Biomes: Tropical Rainforest and Tundra
Animals: Dholes and Arctic Wolves
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s44/blshorsegirl/pic1.jpgThis is a picture of one half of the exhibit. in the rainforest i have 2 dholes (UCA's)
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s44/bls...l/picontest.jpgHeres another picture of the dholes half of the exhibit.
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s44/bls...irl/contest.jpgThis picture is of the other side of the exhibit - here in tundra I have artic wolves (Also UCA's)
I thought that adding the boreal burrow would add to the hole too, it is better than one theme.
Below is the way they are connected with tropical water (shallow deep shallow. and the areas are separated by two buoys (tires) which I accidentialy left out.

The concept behind this one was to simulate the sort of terrain and wildlife that are found locally here in Wyoming/Colorado... I don't know if I really succeeded, but oh well!
Biomes: Alpine/Grassland
Animals: Alpine - Bighorn Sheep (penguika), Grassland - Bison, Pronghorn Antelope (Silesian Tomcat), Black-footed Ferret (penguika).
I know it's not much of a stretch to mix another biome with grassland, but that's what I had to use, given my choice of animals.
So here we go!
Let's start off with a map, just for reference. Yes, it's a very large exhibit... I hope it's okay I didn't do a lot towards making it accessible for the guests:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...enshots/map.jpgHere's an overhead view of the exhibit in 3 parts:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...s/overview1.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...s/overview2.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...s/overview3.jpgI've cordoned off a section of mountain/alpine biome next to a little creek with aspen woods and a pond. The grassland opens out beyond the creek bed (I don't know if you can see it, but the creek bed starts to run dry in the lower reaches of its course).
The Bighorn sheep keep mostly to the alpine section of the enclosure, though it seems that pronhorn also enjoy the higher elevations (or maybe they're just interested in that food trough I put out for the sheep)...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...hots/woods2.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo.../aspenwoods.jpgAmerican Bison roam amongst various prairie grasses, along with pronghorn antelope...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...ghornbison1.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...hots/bison1.jpg... and the highly elusive and endangered black-footed ferret!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...enshots/BFF.jpg(I've... never actually seen one here IRL, sorry to say... though I have seen the others animals I used.)
We finish the tour with two more idyllic shots of antelope in a herd on the bare, open range with a lovely view of... well, what would appear to the Grand Tetons in the background, because no way are those the Rockies. XD
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...ronhornherd.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/glo...nghornvista.jpgAs a bit of trivia, pronghorn antelope don't seem to like jumping over fences like the rickety one shown in the pictures (although undoubtedly they could, if they wanted to), preferring generally to crawl underneath!
All the animals seem quite happy together. If I had some Mule Deer (another very common animal I see in these parts) I might have included them, too, but sadly nobody's made those yet...
Oh... and I think there might be a raccoon somewhere in the woods in one of those pictures... just for fun. XD
Okay, that's all I've got!
Tiger Lily
Animals:Caribou,Moose,Grizzly Bear,Wolf,Wolverine
Biomes:Boreal Forest and Tundra
The Exhibit:
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/9762/overviewwx8.jpgYou can see most of the animals are from Boreal Forest.Except for the Caribou.I know it is a Tundra animal but I think it's fit well with Mooses.
I built a large waterfall in the corner of the exhibit and a river too.In the river there are two bears. They like fishing.
There are five or six wolverines, two mooses and two caribous too.
The mooses and the caribous like each other.
The Forested and the Elevated Area:
http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/1897/pic51le3.jpgThis is a part from the exhibit that has a perfect view of the syle of the exhibit. There are mountain areas covered with snow but also some areas with trees and plants and elevated forest floor.
http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/2715/pic61cy6.jpgThere is another full view picture:
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/5687/pic08eh0.jpgI didn't use any downloads just the Grizzly bear reskin for better shots.
That's all! Hope you like it!
