Title: Green Sea Turtles are thirsty...?

Starstruck - February 21, 2008 08:20 AM (GMT)
Has anyone has had trouble with this? Sometimes my Green Sea Turtles suddenly become extremely thirsty. When I click for the zookeeper recommendations, all they list are the various seaweed objects. Is this correct? Should the water bowls also be there? I could've sworn it also used to recommend jellyfish but the only things there now are seaweed browsers, boxes and piles :S

Thanks in advance, hope this is the right place for this question!

They 'drink' the water in their tank/exhibit so just make sure the water is deep enough and clean...and that should be fine :P

That's the weird part, actually -- the turtles are always totally submerged when I get these messages, and I use water filters on every exhibit with water =S Otherwise I'd have said the same thing. Bizarre. I guess it's just an odd bug then... either that or the water was dirtier than I thought! I'll keep an eye out for dirty water, thanks!

I had a problem with that with that with Pacific Walruses. If shen's suggestion doesn't work, I would add land to the exhibit

I might have had that once or twice...But I think you got the Jellyfish part mixed up with the Leatherback Sea Turtle.
