I'm excited to announce our first ever Creation Colosseum Scenery Tournament! It will follow the same format as the Animal Tournament which was elimination style. You must beat your opponent to move on. Opponents have been drawn randomly for the first round already.

Alpine Decoration

Your job is to make any piece of scenery that will enhance the viewing area to an alpine exhibit. You each have a week and a half to finish. If you are unsure about what would be acceptable, please aske me. :D

When finished, please send your project to the ZooMania Email in a .zip file. :D

A question about the rules:

Can we ask for suggestions on improving our designs?

I'm going to say no for right now, we want completely original designs. By asking for suggestions, it's not really 100% your design anymore. I might change my mind if I ever run another tournament but for this one, No. :P

Are the objects are due before the 31st starts or before the 31st is over? Thats one thing I could never understand from deadline...

Actually, I'm extending the contest til Monday due to requests from some people who have been busy with school. The new deadline is midnight of February 4th.

Since there are three of you, we will be having an elimination round which means that two will move on and one will not.

Deadline: midnight on February 25th
Theme: This round's theme will be water which is not very exciting in itself, but there's the twist. The scenery must either float on top of the water or work underwater. If it works on land too, all the better. :D I wish you all the best of luck :D

Remember, you're competing against the other two participants, not just one of them.

I got confused about the water thing for a bit, I think I get it now after 5 rereads. XD

Oh this next round is going to be a tough one, good thing we have like 2 weeks to work on it. Good job to everyone in the Tournament; it was fun.

I was bested, no surprise in my opinion :D Normally I wouldn't care, but a water theme! Why did I have to miss out on that! Why!!

Alpine is REALLY hard, but water-sceneery is fun and easy!
