The Dalmatian pelican is the Largest and rares of the Pelicans. It ranges right across Eurasia from China and northern India in the east to South Eastern Europe. Like most pelicans it feeds on Fish and Crustaceans which it catches with its huge thoat sac. In the Mediterarnean it is found around Greece, Turkey, Egypt and the middle East. It is also found on the easternmost Mediterranean islands such as Crete and Cyprus.

What do you mean put the horn the wrong shape?

We are still worknig on the packs, the final animal is a Bluefin Tuna, i'm just waiting for premission from Icytree to use his char coding. It was originaly going to be a Mediterranean Monk seal, but the Sea Lion model is far to unrealistic and a MEshed walrus would take forever as the Eyes are on the sides of its head.

Me and GM are now working on the Next Pack, Arabia!

Tiger Lily - January 14, 2008 03:35 PM (GMT)
Arabia?Cool.

GoneWild - January 16, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
the spanish ibex's horns do curve out a little bit. if you search google you can see that most of the pics have a curve outwards.

No, you're wrong. You should try actualy searching for Pics or doing some research before you say i've made it wrong!
Wikipedia - Spanish Ibex

It is not a Wild Goat, but a Spannish Ibex
This is a Wild Goat

Yes, they are similar, but not the same. I don't mind Criticism, as long as you're right!

Meerkat Matt - January 17, 2008 01:09 AM (GMT)
the wikipeada size comparson shows the ibex ers horn curving strait. an the second picture is a wild goat. but you could have it in the arabia p

Gloria - January 17, 2008 02:54 AM (GMT)
Is there honestly that much different between a wild goat and an ibex? Last time I checked they're in the same genus.

Ok look, the picture is of a SPANNISH IBEX NOT a Wild Goat. and i have made a SPANNISH IBEX. As gloria said they are similar, so they're bound to look similar! But i have coded it as a spanish ibex so that's what it is.

And the wikipedia 'size comparison' (species comparison) is showing them SIDE ON so how can you tell what way the horns are pointing, its a drawing anyway and the real life pitures have them poinitng outwards but on the comparision, you cant tell eitherway, but the majority of pictures i have seen, infact all of them show them curving outwards. And the Picture you showed a link too dosn't even work.

I think mine looks like a Spannish ibex and realy don't care if you think its a wild goat, can you just drop it and stop saying it is. Please don't post here if you're just going to tell me i've made the wrong animal its Like i had showed you a leopard, you'd said 'You accerdently made your tiger wrong!'

Sorry for the caps lock but you're getting really annoying and you don't seem to be understanding anything i'm saying!

ShenTirag - January 17, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
Ibexes ARE a variety of wild goats anyway so I don't see what the point of this argument is about. The designers can make their animals the way they want to. You don't like it? Make your own.

Personally I think what you've done is great, it's nice to see more European animals - not that I'm biased ^_^

Africa is one of the most ecologicaly diverse continents on the Planet, so much so an Expantion pack containing 20 animals has already been made for it, but African Adventure barely cratched the surface!

Me and Gorgonopsid Master will bring you 4 packs based in this fantastic continent, each set in a totaly unique ecosystem featuring totaly unique animals!

The First pack, as you well know is based in the Barren Deserts and Scrublands of North Africa.

The Second pack will be based on Africas most famous ecosystem, the Savannah.

The Third pack will bring you a range of unique animals from Africas wetland areas, the Okovango delta in particular

The Fourth pack will take you deep into Africas Congo rainforest and bring eotic new animals back for your zoos.

The African Savannah
user posted image

The Savannah is probably one of the worlds most familiar eco-systems. Its supports a huge number of increadably diverse plants and animals from thiny Dik-dik antelopes to huge Girrafes and Elephants. It is also an important ecosystem for several people including the famous masai. Many of the animals we are most familiar with inhabit Africas Savannahs including the Zebra, Lion, Cheetah, Gazelle and Leopard. The Savannah today is now becoming increading threatened by Desertification due to climate change and Habitat Encroachment by Humans.

African Civet

user posted image
The African civet lives in both the savannas and forests of central and southern Africa. It somwhat resembles a Raccoon/Cat cross and is abut the same size of a small domestic cat. It will eat a variety of fruits, carrion, insects, rodents, eggs, reptiles, and birds. They are able to consume animals and plants that are poisonous to most other animals. In the past, civets were kept for the cruel purpose of extracting secretions from their glands to make perfume. This practice is dwindling as people are using synthetic musk.
