Title: Beijing and Agenobashi Sister Zoos
Description: Jade Emperor and Shaz

Jade Emperor - December 29, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Okay, so, I don't know how well this is going to work, but we're going to try this out. Uhm... might be a day or two before the first pics get up 'n up, but it won't be too long. Also, all admins, I went over this with KK, so, plz don't merge with either of our Zoo topics.

Please note, this idea is © Shaz and Jade Emperor until we know if it works properly.

GRAND OPENING!

That's it! It's official! The Red Star National Zoo located in Beijing, China, is now open! We have animals from the east; from the west, from the north and even the south! Maybe, if you keep your eyes peeled, you might even see our mascot is from a time far gone!

So, well, he's sleeping. You know, it's tough work being famous.

Babies on Board

And, even our animals are getting into the spirit of things by giving us some amazing pictures for the Grand Opening celebration. Incidentally, the opening celebration seemed to have perfectly matched up with the birth of four Geleda babies!

Monkey see, Monkey do is what people like to say; and it's proven by this baby getting tips from his mom on how to dig for tasty bugs.

Out of the already large troop of four adult Females and two adult Males, the birth of three new females and a lone male brings out Geleda total up to ten; three of which will probably be released to the wild to boost their populations. Stay tuned to find out what's going to happen to these brand new babies!

Also, in the Sindh Ibex corral, we seem to have another small addition to our zoo; a new male, as yet un-named. He's lively and loves to jump around off the Oak trees. He will soon be joined by another Ibex kid, and when they are both weaned, they will be shipped over to the Agenobashi Zoo for a new home.

Even though he's a trouble maker, even our new Ibex kid needs some down time with mom.

And, finally, the last of our new additions, also to be shipped to the Agenobashi zoo when he's old enough, our new Cave Lion cub! He's very quiet and shy around most of our Keepers, but he seems to have a certain affinity for one of our Keeper's pant legs in particular. He is also known for destroying Small Toy Balls, having popped a total of eight (at last count) in his life!

Strutting his stuff infront of dad; while dad's not looking, of course.

I'm sorry I haven't had time to post any pics. The comp has been going slow, but aside from that I've had work.

I am very sorry, I haven't had time to work on mine x__x;;
Our zoo, the Abenobashi Zoo, right now only has 4 animal species. We're not officially opened yet as we are waiting for the rest of our animals to arrive. We already have one of our animals out on exhibit, here's a sneak peek.
