Sooooo, has anyone heard ofr have the new game Sonic & Mario at the Olympic Games? I wish I had it, like, right now. It got a 9.0. VERY GOOD! Anyways, Uhm, this game is awesome, mainly because (to me) it has Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Mairo, and Luigi in it. It also as all those real Olympic games in it.

I have it. And beat it. WiFI corerooms are cool, and it has Vector.

I give the game 9.4

I don't have a Wii but if i did I would probbly have this game by now.

Meh, would be better that Wii Sports if it had bowling...

I'm happy cuz I read a magazine and Shadow is in the game! That makes me want to get it more! XD It tests your heart rate in a way, am I correct? O__o

Yes, he is. No unlockables, though.

And don't waste money in magazines, waste it in Internet connection and power. Same results, and you get everything at a constant rate. ;)

The games don't look really fun... And I don't like the idea of Mario running as fast as Sonic.

Mario is not as fast as Sonic in this game. There are differenced stats. Not to mention, the characters are playing fair, to fit actual human records...

Well, I'm not pro to the fact that Mario can beat Sonic in a running race... that does not seem possible. Are there any obstacles, or is it just straightforward running?

Well, from random trailers I have been looking up

Ya know those thinkgs they have at the real Olympics, those things you have to jump over when you run? Yeah, they have those in some of the races, and they have alot more than just racing. They have the javalin throw, table tenis, swimming, archery, and some other ones

well there is hurdles and straight running but Sonic I believe will always beat Mario in those races unless your Mario and you beat Sonic or your Sonic and you screw up so that finish that question up

Also, Sonic has in most games a bad acceleration, while Mario's instantaneous.

And, looking at the first games of the Sonic and Super Mario franchises, Sonic was the best jumper, while Mario was the better runer.

Sonic is still faster however. I can't even see Mario match up to him in this kind of race, but other games certainly. I'm assuming Eggman and Bowser could also beat Sonic in a foot race? I can understand Yoshi- he's a speed character, but other than any other speed character, Sonic should win the races 90% of the time (even with mistakes) as long as he is moving forward.

Sonic is holding back. Fact.

And Eggman can keep up with Sonic easily. Sonic 2 and Sonic and Knuckles say so, plus Eggman in the Chao garden is pretty fast...

And Bowser is hard to outrun, especially when he is rainbow-colored.

Good points, but Bowser is supposed to be slow...

I don't have this game, but surely, wouldn't it be boring if one character (eg Sonic) won 90% of the time? Or if another character (eg Bowser) always lost? I think they'll have all be evened out to make the gameplay more even - It'd not be fair if one character was so much better than the rest, it'd be pointless.

And that's why it plays the way it plays. Not to mention, to give a chance to other characters, Sonic (and Shadow, who has pretty much the same stats) have bad acceleration, to allow other characters to have a chance.

I see your point, but when it gets evened out, it makes the game statistically inaccurate. And Bowser is probably better at other things than Sonic, just not running. Statistically, it wouldn't work so well...

And that's why crossovers do not work so well.

Heheh, the 400m racing is hard. How do you beat people without loosing stamina so fast??? Its driving me crazy!!! *dies* =/

I assume you mean swiming you press the B button when your stamina is almost gone

What do you mean by crossovers? As far as I'm concerned, this game looks like a good idea, but not the best. The graphics look great, the game just doesn't "wow" me with excitement.

A crossover is the event of two franchises coming together, generally without great results, as encounters are forced and out of character.

Maybe that's why I'm not so "pro" towards the game.
