Okay... honestly, that's not the lineup I wanted to see, but that's Spike TV for you... *coughcough ENDORSEMENT MONEY cough* Either way, Bioshock won, and IMHO, Bioshock wasn't the greatest game ever. I think Mass Effect should have won it.

Also, Bioshock beat Call of Duty 4 in best First Person Shooter, which I think is just stupid. What would YOUR game of the year lineup be? Mine...

imo the PS3 is useless. To make it a real good system they need to add a more revolutionary improvement other than better graphics. They should've spent more time on it to add something totally new. And they also overpriced it. I'm not paying $500 or more just for better graphics!

THe 360 is pretty much the same, though I'm considering it for Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4

None of these are my favorites, especially Halo 3. It really bothers me how so many people are obsessive over Halo 3, especially because it's an M rated game...

A lot of great games are rated M. Almost all of the games mentioned are rated M.

Halo doesn't deserve to be rated M though.

First of all, the only things you shoot are some wierd looking aliens. when you get shot, its not very revealing because you have armor. All you see are a few bloody holes. Not guts or organs spilling out.

ps3 is much better than xbox360 cause for ps3 live it is free but xbox live u have to pay for it. Plus u can play Call of Duty 4 on it i have it.

Call of Duty 4 is really good too, my husband has been playing it a lot since I bought it for him for Christmas.

Haven't played any of them apart from playing Halo 3 for about 30 mins at my friends house getting killed every 5 seconds :shelp:

Sorry guys, but you can't beat GH. No guts, no gore, just pure rock! Everyone from toddlers to elderly people can play. :D

Guitar Hero isn't bad... even so, I'd still rather play ProStreet or CoD4. And the PS3 is basically a blu-ray player than can play games. The only real GOOD game out for it so far is Gran Turismo 5. Which, by the way, I can't wait to play.
