Indeed, my defintion of "safari" was a tour based around seeing animals. So naturally, scuba diving couted as a safari for me. Hence the lionfish.

I understand you got permission from icy to use her fish as a base, but do you think this will count towards cool coding, considering you didnt actually do it? Just Wondering

I did this mostly myself, merely looking at Icy's as reference. nbut I've hit some major problems and may need to do a different animal.

i hope you can work through the problems, panda. i would really love a loinfish in the game :D

My next idea is equally as impressive, and shouldn't be muh of a probelm.

Let me guess.... a squirrel? It might be because when I tried to do a squirrel, it turned invisible, and you mentioned something about that in ZTDC, didn't you?

This is the THIRD animal I've coded for this contest so far.

Yup. It's a lost cause. After 2 solid days, I can't fix it.

I'm gonna try my lionfish one more time, see if I can fix the only problem it has.

See, when it breaches on land, instead of floundering about, it just continues to swim on the ground.

If anyone has any idea how to fix this, please, at least give me a hint.

Is a Lionfish african though? It has to fit the contest parameters.

Well, for one, you aren't allowed to get help from anyone in this, remember
that :=D Secondly, theres only a matter of days before we reach the deadline, so, I would try something that you already know how to make and you already know would work. Otherwise, you might end up getting disqualified for not finishing on time :(

Naw, I got this fixed now.

Springhare is *almost* done.

And I'm just saying but, you need to test Ambient into Animals really extensively. Like if there rest need goes overboard about a month into the game.

Skinning and soem small behaviour tweaks. He's placeable and he runs alot.

He uses horse BEH and TSK.

Kangaroos have soem weird behaviour issues where all they do is stand, so I'm using a horse.

There's some proof, for ya'll.

well, good luck! You dont have to worry about the skins much, and i dont have to worry much about the coding - this is going to be interesting, as your coding is gonna be where you get your points, and skinning is where i will get mine, so who knows how it will turn out :D

Skinning should actually be the easiest part.

Prehaps, if time permits, I'll make a variant.

And although my springhare has come a long way, there are too many things needed to be done, and I just couldn't possibly finish it on time.

However, I will continue to work on it, and possibly release it should I fix all of it's errors.
