Any suggestions on how to improve the skin? The model has been edited, but is not done yet :D

I love the skin! Course, Servals are so beautiful and I've always wanted one ingame.

Servals necks are slightly longer than most cats (in comparison to body size) and their tails are s bit shorter too. I still think it looks really good, though :D

thanks you guys - i am going to change the ears more and make the tail shorter. The neck will have to stay the same i think, due to animations, and that that would be very difficult to mesh in nifskope :S

I've always wanted servals! And the skin looks great, too!

Not to be a brag or anything but I think I have a trumph card that'll be pretty sweet, but no promises yet. Expect a tough challenge.

The serval has stripes on its tail and no no spots on the muzzle , no affense it still looks great
P.S the spots on its head are smaller

yes, you should make the tail have stripes, but anyways its a great skin! :D

and don't forget the serval has a white spot on the back of it's ear

Just saw this and wow it is pretty good. I do have two suggestions...
1. Maybe make the skin a little lighter.

2. If you can maybe make the legs a little longer.

Other than those I think it looks great can't wait for it.

I made the ears better and made the belly lighter, but i kept the tail with spots due to numerous reasons. I still havent meshed it yet. But here is is, in progress :D

k - i have updated the skin and model again - how do you like it

also, i know the ears are squarish, but sadly the ears have very very few vertices :( So i guess i will just have to live with it. I made the tail smaller and changed the skin a bit. Any suggestions are welcome! :D

Now, I read earlier in this post that their was a problem where you couldn't add stripes to the tail? I dont know how to make animals but stripes on the tail and some on the neck would make it more realistic, though I don't think they are grading on most realistic are they? They just want you to be creative.

Also, again I dont know how to make animals so Im not sure if it is possible, but servals have very thin, long legs and skinny bodies. Would that be possible to make? Right now yours looks a little more like a tigerval (tiger/serval :aww: ) But that is just my opinion, it still looks good.

Also, I hope you will be making varients...? :D

jessu - the reason i am not putting stripes on the tail is that i cannot get them to look right - they always look forced, not natural. As for the skinny legs and smaller body, it might be possible, but it would be very tough due to the amount of vertices that would need moved

and of course it will have varients! At least 1 or 2, maybe more!

k - for some reason the varients are not working properly - i am working on fixing them, but i dunno if i will be able to in time

Anyway, besides that, it is 100% coded and stuff - i will post screenies ASAP

It looks lovely but the legs definitely need to be more delicate to really make it look like a serval. Not necessarily longer but definitely a bit thinner! Or just make the paws a little smaller! Or something :D In any case it's pretty :3
