Yesterday i bought Ea but when i place a male asian elepahant are pink 100% can someone can help me

It's the pink elephant disease! (I think) Try curing it... If you look in the Zoopedia it will tell you how to.

That'd be cool! Even though it'd freak me out, as long as it doesn't make the game crash...

As I suspected an extremely simple solution can be found. All you need is to do the following:

Asian Elephant: Move the .z2f file from the downloads folder to the main ZT directory.

African Elephant: Go to the main zt directory and rename the file "entities.z2f" to "zentities.z2f"

For anyone that doesn't know, this simply changes he order in which files are loaded. In ZT2 they are loaded alphabetically and this simply moves them to the end of the line.

Note: I'm not sure if this has any negative consequences which there is chance it does (such as removing any programming beyond the original game). Only applies to african elephant.

Edit2: Ok, there are some errors. The first one I've found is that the default zookeeper gate replaces the regular gate for that fence.

I wouldn't fix it if I got that happening because it'd be cool, anyways, here is a picture: Pink Elephants!

This is a VERY bad idea, and I would never recommend any of you do this. The reason why the expansion files are labelled x100_00, x120_000 etc is so that IMPORTANT EXPANSION FIXES overwrite the original game files. If you cause the original game files to overwrite the fixes, there will be MANY problems.

yeah, I know it was bad but it was the best I could do at the time. I've found a much better way to fix it by replacing the pink elephant skins with the regular skins. I might be able to post a hack up with it alter today or tomorrow.

the idea for the asian shouldnt mess up ur game (i did it without any problems), but you should DEFINATELY NOT do it to entities

This, is a real sickness, a easter egg. The cure is simple. Take a sample from two pink items, The big ball and the cotten candy cart, and cure the animal, I think. :confused:... If ya have EA.

No it is actually a glitch - the animals can catch the disease, but the elephants shouldn't be pink as soon as you place them.

But all dont will like this way.
The last friday, i receive the computer from a long week, i said to my girlfriend give me the zookepper collection to install, i install zookepper collection, after Marine Mania, and finally Extinct animals and i dont have the pink elephant!!!!
I think i patch need fix this "homosexual" elephant and the triceratops dont open the eyes.

How can we solve this problem? Asian elephant male are pink, and so are the african ones (male+female)
