Ok, to make GIMP run correctly, do the following:

1) Download and install this before you do anything else.
2) Next, download and install this.

That should do the trick! :)

allright but after i downloaded it that message keeps coming back

SeaWorldGurl1 - August 18, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
Wait, Im confused as to what youre saying. Did you only download it? You have to install it and then it should work. Download AND install the first thing I showed you, and then download AND install the second thing I showed you. You may also want to be sure you are installing it from the administrator account.

SeaWorldGurl1 - August 18, 2007 10:59 PM (GMT)
Good to hear it's working!

Ok, um... what exactly are you wanting to do? GIMP has so many features that it would take me forever to explain each one. xD So, I found this. It may have some useful info. I didn't use this, I just taught myself everything I know. It will take practice, so just be patient. :)

SeaWorldGurl1 - August 19, 2007 02:17 AM (GMT)
Um... well, there really isn't anywhere to go for that. XD You kinda just need to start experimenting.

nourithepandaman - August 19, 2007 04:03 AM (GMT)
ok so can you give me some links for help on experimenting and how to get started???

SeaWorldGurl1 - August 19, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
Um... there really isnt anything like that. XD Sorry, but youre just gonna have to start playing around with it. Thats what I did, and you see what I've done with my banners and avatars. :)

nourithepandaman - August 19, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
but how do you get pictures and add text???

SeaWorldGurl1 - August 19, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
You must find pictures online and save them to your computer. Read the guide I showed you, it tells you how to add text. Im sorry, but I cannot just explain everything to you.

If you want, you could request a sig in the goodies forum! :)

nourithepandaman - August 19, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
