Were can you download the software needed for gimp???

Please try not to ask in multiple places the same question. The software to edit animal skins with GIMP (along with any other photo editing software) can be found here, and a tutorial on using it can be found here. For creating animals, you can download the APE 2 tutorial found here.

Skins are used to give an animal in the game its texture, or in other words, how it looks, the colors, the fur, etc. I see you are only starting to begin ZT2 creation so please let me redirect you to the Zoo Tycoon 2 Design Centre, dedicated to helping in ZT2 creation =) If you need help getting started, view the topic here.
