I have the skins; and they're linked below. BUT, is it possible to turn them into a ZT2 animal? I've heard of people importing other objects... would importing a skin work? The skin is below; and I have skins for 8 other dinosaurs if you're interested in seeing them.

You'd have to import the meshes with the skins. If the meshes aren't .nif and .bf compatible, then it wouldn't work.

3D game models are usually textured using something called a UV map which is a set of coordinates placed on models depending on the vertices (lets say dots that make up the model) and depending on where those coordinates are placed on the model, that's where the texture will fit. If you try using these skins on any of the ZT2 animals, it will not work because their coordinates are set up differently and you will end up with a very misplaced skin on the animal. :(

Also, yeah, skins don't make up the model, lol. You would require the model that originaly used those skins then convert it to the NIF format but then again, file conversion is very difficult so I would avoid trying that. In addition, only statues have been imported, importing animals has not been tried yet or if it has, I doubt it would work at this moment due to their animations having to be converted/imported as well and more. ;)

So... jsut going by what was said... if you had the models and everything... and if you could change everything to a BF or NIF... you could import them?

Technically, yes. But since there really isn't anything that can do that at the moment, I wouldn't worry too much about it ;)
