i've been staring at the box since i saw it come out!.XD i keep hearing about it from other people, but i never got a chance to play It looks pretty awesome..
any one play it? how is it?

Okami?!?!?! I'm ALL about Okami!!! one of my favorite games to say the least. Basically, you play as a wolf god Amaterasu (a god in real japanesse mythology) and you have to go through all these hard challenges. Its cool because its like playing on a canvas, seriously!!! every character is outllined with what seems like paint. check out this trailer!!!

I beat the whole game. The thing is that at the end, its very emotional, trust me, at one point it got to me for a few seconds ;( . :lol: but overall, the was huge and got 9/10 or 9.5/10 ratings. I give it a 10/10!! One of the best games in my opinion in the whole world!! You should get it.

Wow this is a pretty amazing looking game judging by the trailer you linked us to, I like how the characters almost look like animated paintings. The graphics almost remind me of the Legend of Zelda Wind Waker cell shaded ones.

I have been wanting this game since the beginning it came out..i am actually giving up wanting a wii at the moment and I am going to get a ps2 just for this game....and maybe god of war..

Kiger, my brother is addicted to god of war, he says its REALLY good. eheh another reason to get ps2 ^^

I have a PS2, but I've never heard about anything of what the heck the game is until now!

Its a great game Geckoheaven. Just looking at it makes you want to buy it!

Is it a T rated game?

Yes, Its because of the followng (nothing that bad, I mean come on):
Blood and gore (the blood looks like red paint, no biggie, but some of them are wierd, nothing that bad, the only time you see gore is in the fights with the two Orochi)
Crude Humor (its not really funny, just alot of teasing)
Fantasy Violence (special moves that will never be possible in the history of man kind lol)
Suggestive Themes (gods, demons, darkness, and evil)
Use of Alcohol and Tabacco (they only use sake 5 times, and tabacco 1)
Nothing that will really scare you or anything. Alcohol is hard to spell. lol :lol: Hey, I'm a girl and looking at the gore at the end of the battle with Orochi is not that pretty, but there is no blood, its just a white cranberry juice looking liquid that comes out when he dies (which is after you have to cut all 8 of his heads off) Other that that, the game is fine. I'm 12 and the game gets me grossed out sometimes, but other than that, I'm fine. They over react when it comes to ratings.

OK, but I just don't like how you said Alcohol and tobacco, I'm really against that stuff.

The stuff does not even look like tabacco, it looks more like a jug of juice or somethin, and its only used once or twice, so after that, its fine.

Guyish...wow..Videogames in general are considered 'guyish' I luv it, and just because a game contains violence doesn't make is a guy game. It's graphics are pretty and it combines fighting..so it is kinda...meh..i dunno how to explan it.

Yeah, but not ALL video games are guyish...Still yet, I still do sometimes play guyish video games, it's just that I don't play video games much, unless you consider ZT2 a video game. (I don't) I didn't mean guyish, I just don't like fighting(At least not that kind,but Pokemon and related is OK), and I'm NOT calling it a guyish game just because it has violence. :P I mean, I've played guyish video games before. Just remember that not ALL games are guyish. I know some games that alot of girls really like, or games that are kinda cutieish. Some games are just for both genders.
Examples: Barbie games,(I don't have them but have heard of them) Nintendogs,(Do have) Dogz/Catz,(Don't have)Hamster life,(Do have)and DDR(Do have, stands for Dance Dance Revolution.)

Lucky, I got 50 hours the first time I beat it... I lag alot... lol what kamic transformers did you recieve? You recieve new things everytime you beat the game becuase you unlock new stuff for the number of pionts you get each time.

i just received the karmatic returner, and the other 2 that you get for completing the game XD

I'm stuck on the block head blocking the path to the gale shrine right after you get the orbs from Princess Fuse. I'm stuck on it because the weak pionts are hard to get.
